After living in Manhattan and Brooklyn for nearly 20 years, Nancy relocated to Montclair with her wife and young daughter at the height of the pandemic in 2020, seeking better work-from-home accommodations and private outdoor space. This year, Nancy and her wife received the first permit in Montclair to create an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) and have recently completed construction, giving her unique expertise on the rules and process for this new city ordinance.
